Where we started
Several years ago, we set out to create high-quality bamboo clothing that helps children get a better night’s sleep, soothes sensitive skin, feels comfier than almost anything else out there, and lasts up to three times longer than most other fabrics. But soon we found ourselves wanting more. What else could we do beyond awesomely-designed bamboo clothing?
Our journey led us to thoughtful details-like adding foot grippies, fold-over cuffs, and color-coordinated zippers. We even designed a custom stitching method to make the fabric extra smooth, especially around the neck.
But we didn’t stop there!
Bring in The Kai Blue Crew
It all began with our sea turtle logo, which slowly became our mascot. We created Kai the Sea Turtle and set him off on his journey—but every adventurer needs companions! That’s how Blue the Starfish, his friend, joined the crew.
Inspired by each of our own children, we introduced more characters: Hailley the Octopus, Noah the Seahorse, Vienna the Dolphin, Calihan the Crab, and Maverick the Hammerhead Shark. Before we knew it, Echo the Beluga Whale and Jett the Stingray joined the fun. And since no trip to the beach is complete without a playful seagull snatching up your snacks, we brought Crew the Seagull to finalize The Kai Blue Crew!
